If you have more than one computer in your home, then you should have a home network. Believe me, this is not an opinion but a fact.
Till this day I have not heard a convincing argument to support keeping multiple computers under one roof isolated.
Using and managing multiple computers is easier when you have them networked. You do not have to remember which computer you were using when you started the letter to your Aunt Agnes because you can pull it from the network and finish it.
